Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, is the only purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the United States designed for all classes of racing. The 3.4-mile racetrack hosts the world's most prestigious sporting events, including Formula 1, MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, holiday festivals, professional and amateur sporting events as well as opportunities for track rentals. The 1,500-acre campus is also home to the Austin360 Amphitheater ' PollStar's 2013 "Best New Major Concert Venue" and a 2014 "Best Major Outdoor Concert Venue" Pollstar nominee ' impressive meeting and hospitality spaces and an iconic 25-story observation tower that offers 360-degree views of the circuit, amphitheater and downtown Austin.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Coordinator is responsible for assisting with fulfillment, execution and overall management of a growing portfolio of COTA corporate partners, as well as a revenue goal tied to the retention, renewal and growth of these partnerships. The ideal candidate will showcase strong presentation skills, the ability to build strong relationships and possess excellent attention to detail.
- Primary day-to-day contact for select corporate partners
- Planning and executing day-to-day activation operations
- Manage and service contractual elements for select partners to ensure quality standards and that client expectations are met
- Overall digital and static sponsor signage and advertising management
- Communicate with partners regularly to ensure exceptional customer service
- Support the sales team in business intelligence, research, prospecting and recap generation
- Create and maintain sponsorship sales materials.
- Track and assure fulfillment of contractual obligations
- Manage activation process to develop and grow current clients along with identifying new business opportunities
- Assist in all aspects of activation including game night, corporate and community events
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, qualify standards are met, and that projects are profitable
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to strategically create positive publicity for the team
- Coordinate partner event hospitality
- Work event days and special events to entertain existing partners and prospects
- Other duties as assigned including special projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2-3 years marketing/sponsorship experience
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and proven ability to work with aggressive individual and team sales goals
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Solutions-oriented, problem-solving mentality a must
- Must be creative, detail-oriented and possess a strong work ethic
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
- Basic Photoshop and Design skills to aid development of sales materials
